This time, works by one such composer, Carl Svarts, have been recorded on piano by Tronjæ.\n\n\n\nKarl Swaetz was born in 1803 in Kiel, the capital of the Duchy of Holstein (German: Holstein), then a Danish possession. At the time, there was a fruitful exchange between the universities of Copenhagen and Kiel. Swaetz traveled to Copenhagen to study under Friedrich Kuhlau.\n\n\n\nVariations and Polonaise based on the theme \"A Wonderful Summer Night\" from the hunters' chorus in Kuhlau's Singspiel The Fairy Hill.
