This 2-CD set contains live recordings from his \"Dream Band\" concert tour in 13 German cities in the fall of 2021.\n\nSince the 1980s, Haffner has been a key player in all kinds of jazz, funk, and pop units, and has performed with many musicians. The members of the \"Dream Band\" are also longtime friends.The group features trumpet giant Randy Brecker, saxophonist Bill Evans, who has co-lead the group Spykillers since 2018, the new group's young keyboardist Simon Oslender, trombonist Nils Landgren, vibraphonist Christopher Dell, and one of the finest trombonists of our time. Oslender, Nils Landgren, the best trombonist of our time, Christopher Dell, a vibraphonist, and Thomas Stieger, a bassist who has been playing with the group for several years now. This is a wonderful recording of a dream group of seven musicians.\n\nHafner sits on a bright red drum set (the same color as Lundgren's trombone) on a raised platform at the back of the stage, looking like a child genuinely enjoying music, even though he has been known since he was 17 years old and has had a 40-year career.
