This version was forgotten for a time, but was published in separate volumes between 1949 and 1951, and in 1979 Holst's daughter Imogene compiled it into a complete edition, which is performed here. Otto Singer, known for his piano arrangements of Bruckner's symphonies, has arranged Elgar's \"Introduction and Allegro\" for four hands, and has beautifully reproduced Elgar's characteristic exquisite counterpoint and sense of harmony. The author of the version performed here is not known, as there have been many arrangements of \"Love's Greeting\".
