The agile sound movement, which evokes a spirit of improvisation rather than the long, extended cantabile of post-classical works, evokes an eloquent drama, and the interplay between the cornet on the right and the violin on the left is full of stereo effects.\n\nDavid Brutti, a saxophonist turned classical wind instrumentalist who also dabbles in contemporary music, sometimes plays with overblowing techniques in a dynamic and exciting manner.
