The Chateau de Versailles Spectacles, a project team of the Palace of Versailles Cultural Events, has produced an album of images of the Grand Fountain Show at the Palace of Versailles. The show, which makes lavish use of the grand fountains of the Château de Versailles, is a modern-day version of an event once enjoyed by the courtesans of the past and still enjoyed by many tourists today. Here is a magnificent album of the music used in this event, as well as other French Baroque festival music from the label's own sound sources. It is a great pleasure to note that it includes the currently unreleased "Mass for the Sun King," "Lully: Fairton," "Lully: Te Deum/Biber: Salzburg Mass," and "Handel: Coronation of George II," all of which are unreleased in Japan due to PAL DVDs.
