This is a collection of the complete works of Montpauw's masterpiece "Secret Music". The music is meditative and simple in style, yet sometimes avant-garde in sound, including some atonal passages. The title is taken from a poem by the Spanish thinker St. John of the Cross, and in the words of Mompou himself, who spoke of this work at the Royal Academy of Music and Arts of St. George: "The listener is left to listen to the sounds and the flow of time in a large, cold dome, keeping his emotions deep inside. As he said, "The listener listens to the sound and listens to the flow of time, keeping his or her emotions deep inside the large, cold dome. Performing is Spanish pianist Aracama. He is known as a versatile musician who founded and serves as artistic director of a contemporary music festival in the Spanish city of Ponferrada and has premiered many contemporary pieces.
