In 1961, he gave the world premiere of the “Symphony” in Lucerne (the recording on this album is a live performance taken about one month after the premiere).\nKodály’s suite “Háry János,” one of his most representative orchestral works, is, without exaggeration, the definitive recording of this piece. Recorded just seven years after the initial 1954 recording—and despite the difference between stereo and mono—this re-recording captures Kodály’s world with even greater depth. His approach to composition, which prioritizes universal musicality over excessive ethnic flavor, is sure to satisfy many listeners.\nFurthermore, this recording was made just two months before Fritschai retired from conducting, making it one of his very last recordings—a fact that adds to its special significance. The other tracks on this album—the combination of Stravinsky and Ainem—are the original pairing from the first release. This marks the first reissue featuring the original program since the advent of the CD era.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"TOWER RECORDS UNIVERSAL VINTAGE COLLECTION +plus","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53595623293217,"sku":"4988005756503","price":38.0,"currency_code":"AED","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4988005756503.jpg?v=1790481979","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-ae\/products\/4988005756503","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
