[DISCO FEVER 40" 1st release (11)] "DISCO FEVER 40" campaign commemorates the 40th anniversary of the movie "Saturday Night Fever" in Japan. For the first release, 50 albums from the 70's and early 80's will be reissued all at once! Born in Philadelphia in 1941 (died in 2017), he was a singer/songwriter/producer representing Philly Soul in the 70's and later joined NY Salsoul and made his mark in the history of dance music. The album includes the title track with its cool and funky development, and "Come On And Dance, Dance, Dance," a mellow dancer with high nu-soul flavor. Backing music was provided by Instant Funk and recorded at the prestigious Sigma Studios.
