The Mendelsons (Lee Mendelson was the executive producer of the TV special) had the opportunity to dig deep into the archives during the pandemic downturn and discovered what had previously been thought to be lost over time, leading to this release.This music was recorded on October 4, 1966 at DeSille's Gower Street Studios in Hollywood, California, with Galardi (piano) and his longtime friends and trio of sidemen, Monty Budwig on bass and Colin Bailey on drums, plus Emmanuel Klein (trumpet), Emmanuel Klein John Gray (guitar) and Ronald Lang (woodwinds). Composed, arranged, and conducted by John Scott Trotter, who was Bing Crosby's musical director for 30 years and a close friend. 180g weight LP, this album includes the original analog session reel of \"The Great Pumpkin.
