He has previously worked under the names Salvia Plath and Run DMT, and now begins a new project and continues with a new release on Domino's Weird World. The songs are inspired by French philosopher Jean Baudrillard, his understanding of social media, Italian filmmaker Sergio Leone's westerns, and Collins' never-ending journey, taking listeners on a journey into a different world. The album was produced by Ariel Pink, who himself guest-vocalized on \"Easy to Forget\" and also sang on \"Suddenly. Other artists featured on the album include Natalie Mehring (aka Wise Blood) on \"Suddenly\" and \"The End Of Comedy\", Earl Agony on \"The Real World\", and Danny James on \"My Life\". The first single, \"Suddenly,\" is a lounge\/jazz-pop song with piano, and each song has the color of a guest, creating an album that sounds like a collection of short movies.\n\nRecordings were made over the years at Leaving Records HQ in LA, the telegraph house in Oakland, the Drones Club in Montreal, Ariel Pink's home in LA, the Brown residence in Berkeley, Mac DeMarco's home in NY The Glen cabin in Vancouver, the Copycat in Baltimore, Danny James's place in Oakland, Natalie Mering's home in NY, and many other locations.
