Description:

Farinelli (real name Carlo Broschi) was a legendary castrato singer who was overwhelmingly famous in 18th century Italy. He had an astonishingly beautiful voice and vocal technique, with a range of three and a half octaves, and there are even anecdotes of women fainting when they heard his voice in various parts of Europe. It is said that he also composed music, which is included in this album. Jörg Vasinski is a countertenor from Berlin who has appeared in operas and concerts throughout Europe with his rare high vocal range and attractive singing ability. Tokyo M-Plus
