Annika Treutler's second Brahms recording with cellist Julia Hagen! The second Brahms recording by Annika Treutler, a pianist from Detmold, Germany, now based in Berlin as of 2018, features two cello sonatas and six arrangements of songs with cellist Julia Hagen. Troessler, who studied with Matthias Kirschnerite at the Rostock University of Music and Drama and with Bernd Goetzke at the Hannover University of Music, Drama, and Media, is a promising young German pianist with solid credentials, having won third prize at the 2014 Montreal International Music Competition. Cellist Julia Hagen, born in 1995, began playing the cello at the age of five and studied with Detlef Milke in Salzburg, Austria; from 2007 to 2011 she studied with Enrico Bronzi at the Mozarteum Conservatory, then with Reinhard Ratko in Vienna, and from fall 2013 with He studied with Heinrich Schiff.She boasts a competition history that includes first place at the Prima la Musica Competition and the Riesen International Cello Competition.
