Speaking of too-cool-for-jazz, Lalo Schifrin, the master of soundtracks, mixes hard-boiled bossa nova with a touch of rock! A shout out to the soft bossa! Lalo Schifrin's "In Sensates" is an original album by Schifrin, whose sound could almost be considered one of the best action soundtracks of the 60s. The first track is a cool Shiffrin original, not a Jobim tune, although it has the same name.
