Description:

On the 20th anniversary of the death of the great Italian director, Georges Strelle, Mozart's "Escape from the Hermitage" was performed at La Scala in Milan in 2017, conducted by Zubin Mehta, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the death of the great Italian director, Georges Strelle [1921-1997]. Mozart's "Escape from the Hind Palace" was performed at La Scala in Milan in 2017 under the direction of Zubin Mehta to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his death. Directed by Georges Strelle, "Escape from the Hermitage" was first performed at the Salzburg Festival in 1965, and was so well received that it was performed 37 times over an eight-year period until 1974. For this revival, Mattia Testi has taken on the role of revising and directing the production. Tästie is a director who has worked on many of Strehl's revival projects. The Dutch soprano Reneke Luiten will play the role of Konstanze, the Futans soprano Sabine Deuvier, with her lovely figure and rich voice, will play Blonde, and the British tenor Mauro Pesti, who is attracting worldwide attention as the second coming of Wunderlich, will play Belmonte, who was played by Wunderlich when the opera was performed in 1965. The British tenor Mauro Peter, who is attracting worldwide attention as the second coming of Wunderlich, was cast as Belmonte. Zubin Mehta, the conductor, was 29 years old at the time of the premiere at the Salzburg Festival in 1965.Furthermore, since 1972, he has frequently staged this Strehl production at La Scala in Milan. Metta's health was a concern for a while, but he will be back in Japan with the Berlin Philharmonic in 2019 to give a powerful conducting performance. King International
