Mehta has established a decades-long artistic relationship and deep friendship, especially with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra.Since conducting his first concert with the orchestra in 1987, Mehta has been a regular guest, and in 2004 he was named the orchestra's first and currently only \"Honorary Conductor. Twenty years later, in January 2024, the orchestra celebrated this anniversary with a Brahms Cycle that included two piano concertos and four symphonies performed by one of today's most acclaimed and respected pianists, Yefim Bronfman, as well as a tour.\n\n\n\nZubin Mehta first recorded the Brahms symphonies with the Vienna Philharmonic in 1976, followed by the complete works with the New York Philharmonic around 1980, and the complete works with the Israel Philharmonic in 1992. This is the first recording of the Brahms Symphonies in about 20 years, and unlike the previous performances, this time around, the musicians take their time to carefully listen to each note and phrase, and create a superb Brahms image through expressive tempi, balance, and the expression of lyrical beauty woven with rich three-dimensionality by means of dunamics.\n\n\n\n(Warner Music)\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Muncher Philharmoniker","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50238288462113,"sku":"731788141806","price":46.95,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/731788141806.jpg?v=1724916161","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/de-de\/products\/731788141806","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
