RPO Beethoven 250th Anniversary Series! Eliezabet Sombard plays the Piano Concerto! The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra celebrates the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth with a series of concerts. This is the second collection of Beethoven's piano concertos by Elisabeth Sonbar, a renowned female pianist from Strasbourg, France, and Pierre Vallee, a French conductor known for his long-term partnership with Seiji Ozawa. Eliezabeth Sombart founded the "Resonance Foundation" in 1988 to share classical music with diverse audiences, and currently performs over 500 concerts a year in various venues such as hospitals, orphanages, and prisons in seven countries around the world. In 2006, he was awarded the French National Order of Merit, and in 2008, the Order of Arts and Letters. He has established a strong relationship with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and has recorded a unique album of Chopin's piano concertos and the "Adagio" movement of the famous piano concerto, and we can expect to hear graceful and refined Beethoven.
