The winner of the 2008 Bach International Competition for Organ, Berlint Kalosi, shows his side as a composer with the first recordings of three of his most notable works. The winner of the organ section of the 2008 Bach International Competition, Berlint Kalosi has released J.S. Bach's Clavier Exercises Part 3 (HCD32745) and Technique of Fugue (HCD32784) on the HUNGAROTON label, both of which are highly regarded for their hard-hitting interpretations. The two works are highly acclaimed for their hard-edged interpretations. In addition to being an excellent organist, he is also a talented composer, and this album features world premiere recordings of three of his most notable works. The six-part Concerto No. 2 for Organ, Percussion, and Strings is a work in which the organ melody seems to float in space, while the impact of the percussion and string melodies compete with each other. The Trio is an unusual combination of zymbalon, harp and guitar. The symphonic poem "Existence," composed in 2014, is a triumph of the composer Kalosi's career.The style and composition are reminiscent of 19th century symphonic poetry, and the subtitle, "To the memory of the Hungarian poet Veresh Sándor," is an orchestral rendering of Sándor's pure poetic world, celebrating one of the greatest poets of the 20th century.
