Kyle began as a bassist in an R\u0026amp;B band, then established himself as a double bass player, bandleader, and composer. Since his debut as a leader on Sony's 1998 release \"From There To Here,\" he has established a solid foothold in the jazz world, playing fresh, modern music reminiscent of the great jazzmen of the 50s and 60s.He has also created soundtracks for such important films as \"Million Dollar Baby,\" \"Gran Torino,\" \"Mystic River,\" \"Invictus,\" and \"Letters from Iwo Jima.\" Kyle Eastwood has launched a very ambitious project to focus on actor\/director Clint Eastwood's best-known films and reinterpret their theme songs in a jazz way, the first of which was his last release, \"Cinematic,\" in 2019. In it, he imbued the now-classic soundtracks of Clint's films with creativity, sensitivity, and joy, making them a rewarding listening experience. As with the previous release, this new version is a reinterpretation and reconstruction of Clint's work from his son's point of view.
