This animation is based on the desire of Noriyasu Uematsu, head of the sound production group Elements Garden, and Akifumi Kaneko, a game creator who has released numerous systems and scenarios, to "create a work in which music is at the center of everything! The story is set in a future Japan, a little further into the future than the present day, about Noise, a certified singular disaster that threatens humanity, and the girls who wear the only Symphogear system that can fight Noise. The girls are nostalgic for their ideals. The girls are pained by the reality. They are tossed about by the harsh circumstances they are confronted with, yet they continue to struggle without turning their heads, and they continue to fight, believing in the power of "songs" and the possibilities they hold for the future.
