This quintet is another beautiful work with a graceful melody. The melancholy atmosphere of the second movement leaves a strong impression. Silvestrov's quintet was written before he developed his current contemplative style. Although the third movement is relatively gentle, it is a valuable work that gives us a glimpse of the intense Silvestrov of the 1960s. The world premiere recording of Poleva's \"Seamurg Quintet\" is a mysterious work with a simple string melody with little movement and piano passages.
