This is the second album by Montenegrin guitar duo Nikicevic and Bratovic, who were highly acclaimed for their previous album "Sea" (8.573943), a unique work combining the bright atmosphere of the Mediterranean with the mysterious Middle East. The album opens with "Peninsula," a piece that uses the irregular and dynamic rhythms characteristic of the Balkan Peninsula, and is followed by a variety of pieces in different styles, from the Italian-inspired "Tarantella Vulcanica" to the flamenco-style "Bulerias" and "Arka," which uses traditional Montenegrin music.
