It is composed in eight movements using \"Chinese Poems\" adapted into German by Hans Bethge, with erhu solos inserted at key points. Although the work is annexed as No. 6, it is in fact Penderecki's \"last symphony,\" completed over a period of nine years after the completion of his Eighth Symphony \"Song of Fragility,\" for which only sketches had been known for a long time. The poem by Bethge reminds us of Mahler's \"Song of the Earth,\" and this symphony is modeled after the late Romantic style, which sounds exactly like Mahler's. The melody is melancholy and melancholy. The melancholy melody of the symphony is music to the ear, while the 2012 Double Concerto for Violin and Viola (this performance is for cello and violin) and the 2015 Trumpet Concerto are lively neoclassical-inspired works. David Guerrier, soloist in the trumpet concerto, won first prize in the trumpet section of the 2003 Munich International Competition, and is a virtuoso trumpet and horn player who was solo horn player with the Orchestre National de France from 2004 to 2009 and with the Luxembourg Philharmonic from 2009 to 2010.Here he plays superb trumpet with superb technique.
