To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau (1925-2012), whom he admired, Benjamin Apple has released an album that explores not only his artistic side but also his essence as a human being. In honor of one of the greatest icons of 20th century vocal music, we have included his diaries, letters, and various documents, which he left with us, and which we hope will be of great interest to the audience. Apple spent several years researching his diaries, letters, various documents, concert histories, and paintings to create a personal portrait of the man behind his great success and worldwide acclaim. The album also includes world premiere recordings of works by Dietrich's father Albert and brother Klaus, one of which is based on a poem by Dietrich.The 140-page booklet includes Apple's own lengthy essay on Dietrich's life (in English, German, and French), as well as photographs, documents, paintings by Dietrich, and other rare images that tell the story of his life. Dieter\" is a nickname for Dietrich from his family and other people close to him.\n\nNaxos Japan","brand":"Alpha","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51313137352993,"sku":"4589538822842","price":29.95,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4589538822842.jpg?v=1748337336","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/de-de\/products\/4589538822842","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
