Despite the fact that Tamerlano is engaged to a foreign princess, Irene, Bayezet's beautiful daughter, Asteria, is forced to become his wife. Asteria, on the other hand, is in love with Prince Andronico of Greece, an ally of Tamerlano. Asteria tries to secretly poison Tamerlano, but Irene discovers it and ......\n\n\n\nVivaldi's late opera \"Bayazetto\" was composed to \"Tamerlano\" by Nicola Francesco Heim, also known as the libretto for Handel's opera, and premiered in Verona in 1735 as the season opener.Vivaldi's autograph score is being reconstructed by researchers because, although the recitative that tells the story remains in its complete form, some of the arias that follow the recitative are missing. The work is also based on \"pasticcio\" (a mixture of quotations from existing works), a dramatic technique widely practiced in opera during Vivaldi's time. Vivaldi incorporated arias by popular Neapolitan composers (Geminiano Giacomelli, Riccardo Broschi, and Johann Adolph Hasse) into this work. Conductor Federico Maria Sardelli, who is also a scholar of baroque opera, has carefully examined the lost arias and created versions based on his research into the instrumentation of orchestras of the time. In addition, Fabio Celesa, an Italian director extraordinaire, and his stage creative team extended the concept of the work as a pasticcio to the production. The performers tell the story in a recitative in the foreground of the stage, and the arias are interspersed throughout the production as 25 short plays (meta-operas) that are detached from the story, creating a spectacular merry-go-round-like setting. The cast includes Renato Dolcini, a baritone who won acclaim as Leporello in \"Don Giovanni\" at the New National Theatre in 2022; Sonya Plina, a contralto who specializes in Vivaldi and sings with great enthusiasm; and Raphael Pé, a countertenor who is popular for his solid technique and expressive singing. The tenor singer Rafael Pé, who is popular for his solid technique and expressive singing, and many other singers who excel in their singing performances. The orchestra, led by Sardelli's baton, brings this pasticcio masterpiece vividly back to life with the lively music of Vivaldi on stage, which is taken from various scenes in movies, dramas, computer games, and so on.\n\n\n\n(Naxos Japan)\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Dynamic (Classical \/ Italy)","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51265077543201,"sku":"4589538821173","price":32.95,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4589538821173.jpg?v=1747037582","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/de-de\/products\/4589538821173","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
