This has led to the release of numerous classic songs such as \"ASAYAKE\" and \"DOMINOLINE.\"\nThe band has maintained its reputation despite lineup changes, spanning three distinct phases: the first phase from its formation in 1977 through 1989; the second phase from 1990 to 2006; and the third phase, which began in 2012—the band’s 35th anniversary—after a six-year hiatus, when they relaunched as CASIOPEA 3rd. From 2022 to 2024, the drumming duties were passed from Akira Jimbo to Yoshiyori Imai, marking the fourth phase as CASIOPEA-P4. In May 2025, Jun Abe joined as a new member, and to mark this occasion, the group reverted to its original name, CASIOPEA, for its fifth phase.
