This album brings modern electronic technology to their organic chamber tribal music, and introduces their first \"vocal piece\" to make the leap. The familiar hypnotic addiction level is the strongest. Clan Caiman, led by Argentine composer Emilio Aro, is an Argentine group, but their timeless, organic music transcends nationality. The group's timeless, organic music transcends nationality, and their occasional recordings and releases are a source of confidence. Their third album, \"Picapau\" (Woodpecker), is their most abstract and minimalist work to date, but it is neither cold abstractionism nor strict minimalism. As its iconic album name suggests, with its focus on rhythm and texture, \"Pikapau\" is warm and hypnotic, as if it had existed long before, even though it was created in 2023-24.Like his previous releases on M Records, \"Caiman Tribe\" (2018) and \"Asoma\" (2021), this work is supported by an ensemble of Aro's own tuned percussion instrument, the kalimbaphone (a creative instrument modified from a thumb piano). The calimbaphone pattern, which activates a strong sense of ethno, flows between waves of reverbed lap steel and guitar, and the descending bass and cymbal-less percussion allow the music to flow inexorably forward like a great river of timelessness. The majority of the compositions are unified in the keys of F-sharp minor and E minor, giving the listener the feeling of being immersed in a deep night world surrounded by life, away from the closed, trendy environment of the city. Like previous albums, this is an instrumental album, but the final track, \"Tulipán Song\" (Tulip Song), features the first vocal piece. It is a vocal version of the opening track, sung in a language invented by Aro.
