Born in Ottawa, Canada in 1968, Sue Foley picked up the guitar at age 13 and gradually gravitated toward the blues, leading her own band on a Canadian tour at age 18. She then signed with Anton's in Austin, Texas, and released her first album, \"Young Girl Blues,\" in 1992. After moving to Texas, he worked as an O.A. for Albert Collins, Johnny Winter, and others, and released albums consistently.After returning to Canada, she wrote the book \"Guitar Woman\" and participated in \"Blues on Blonde on Blonde: Bob Dylan Blues Covers (2003)\". In 2004, she moved to RUF and released the live recordings \"Change\" and \"New Used Car\". She also produced the hit compilation \"Blues Guitar Woman\".
