Although no album was released in 1975, Santana played a tremendous number of shows, and the show on December 31, 1975, the last day of the year, was the culmination of their explosive performance.Moreover, the band was at its most polished, as it was prior to the release of the \"Amigos\" album (1976), which took a more sophisticated Latin rock route.
