This beautiful program features the "arpa doppia" (also called Renaissance harp or double harp), a double harp that developed in Italy in the 1600s and 17th century and features two rows of strings. The "Alpa Doppia" was born and loved in Italy, and soon became a favorite of the aristocracy and other upper classes, and is known as an instrument that contributed to the development of musical styles, as it came to play an important role in the music of the time.
