(1) is the final version, premiered in 2018 by the Diotima Quartet. The strings are modified like a prepared piano, with coarse snarls and scratching noises intermingled with pre-recorded sine waves. Also, although it is almost impossible to tell just by listening, Bach's Solo Violin Partita No. 1 is used as a basis for the musical structure. The other works are also noise-centered and intense worlds.
