Rita Strohl was born in Lorient, Brittany, France, and entered the Paris Conservatory at age 13, where she studied piano and solfège, and composition and voice with a private professor, and in 1888 married Strohl, a soldier, and changed her name. He continued to compose. Georges Onslow was a French composer whose father was an English aristocrat. He was more highly acclaimed in Germany than in France at the time, and although he has since been forgotten, he is one of the composers who have been reevaluated in recent years. Aude Pivo is a cellist from Grenoble, France. He studied in Lausanne and Zurich, Switzerland, and as of 2020 is a cello teacher at the Ecole Supérieure de Musique de Lausanne. Sarabande.
