The title of this album is "Complices", which means "partner" or "companion" in Japanese. The title implies that not only the two performers themselves but also the audience is a companion who shares the same space and time with the performers. The program chosen by the two musicians, who have many opportunities to perform together, is a collection of encore pieces, ranging from well-known pieces to unknown masterpieces. Kelas says that at concerts, not only during the announced full-length program, but also during the encores after the program is over, there is a wonderful freedom and mutual exchange that takes place in a slightly more relaxed atmosphere. The album also captures this more laid-back and free atmosphere in a wonderful way. On track 17, the popular saxophonist Rafael Ambert joins the ensemble to add to the album. The disc closes beautifully with the second movement of Haydn's Symphony No. 13, in which the solo cello sings a beautiful melody.
