Description:
MIDDLE EDGE, which is active mainly in Tokyo and Ibaraki, will release its first LP in August from Episode Sounds! After one demo, two standalone 7 "s, a split 12 "s, and a V.A. (Scrap!), they finally completed their first album. (Scrap!), they finally completed their first album. Based on Late 70's UK Punk~Post Punk, with influences from The Stranglers, Warsaw~Joy Division, The Outsiders~The Sound, Killing Joke, etc., the album is a blend of odd, thick backing and emotional but dynamic vocals + guitars. The band's best work to date is now complete, with a dynamic mix of vocals and guitars. The recording was done by current members Katana and Takakura, and the mixing and mastering was done by Katana herself, making this the band's first album completed entirely by their own hands.
