Description:
Amran & Ansnes in a shocking joint performance of the two-piano version of "The Rite of Spring"! Marc-André Amran, who showed us a new world with his recording of Morton Feldman's "The Rite of Spring" (PCDA 68048), is back with a new recording of the two-piano version. The new recording is a two-piano album with the famous Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Ansnes, one of the leading pianists in Scandinavia, and it is Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring," a crossroads album! A miraculous piano duo. Expect to hear Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring", a difficult piece that is excitingly portrayed by the two virtuosos, as well as his "Concerto for two pianos" and several arrangements of his works for two pianos!
